I am Trina Cornelison, first and foremost a human being, just like you, who has had to find my way through the difficulties of life. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Registered Yoga Teacher - 200 hour.
I have had the privilege of helping clients along their healing journeys for over 13 years. I believe in the inner wisdom and self healing mechanisms within each of us. My intention is to help facilitate a greater connection to your body and its innate wisdom through getting to know your nervous system and by integrating yoga and other mind-body interventions into the work that I do.
I believe whole heartedly in this process because of my own healing that has come from working with my nervous system through the tools that yoga focused on nervous system resilience has to offer - breath work, vagus nerve stimulation, meditation and slow, gentle, instinctive movement. As part of my commitment to a holistic approach, I am currently completing the Health Coach Training Program through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I look forward to being able to offer health and wellness coaching in the future. I would be honored to walk with you through this part of your journey in whatever way feels aligned for you - individual therapy, nervous system coaching, therapeutic yoga groups, and/or health coaching in the future.
In addition to my other roles, I am a mother of 2 adult sons that mean the world to me. I am a nature lover (particularly the mountains), an animal lover, a lover of movement that feels good to my body, a lifetime student, and get much joy from activities that help me connect with myself, those I love, and a community of like-minded people.
